CAT BRADSHAW TRAINING

Hi! My name is Cat Bradshaw.

I am currently based in Los Angeles, California. I am a certified personal trainer, yoga teacher, nutrition coach, and Holistic Health Practitioner. I also work part-time as a fitness model.

Who do I train? I’ve worked with a wide range of clients from the person who is brand new to training to the athlete looking to take their performance to the next level. I’ve trained men, women, boys, and girls ranging in ages 3 to 81. My clients have included teachers, students, small business owners, Fortune 500 company CEOs, housewives, and celebrities. I trained Halle Bailey in preparation for a movie. I have been volunteering as a coach for a non-profit organization called Girls On The Run since 2021. I’ve also served on the board of directors. This spring will be my sixth season coaching and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I coach third through eighth grade girls on not only running and the importance of physical fitness, but how to be respectful, inclusive, why it’s important to stand up for others, how to deal with bullies, and so much more!

How would I describe my training style? I was raised by a single father in the Marine Corps. My dad taught me discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. My upbringing combined with years of studying Buddhism and positive psychology has flavored my personal training style in a way where discipline, mindfulness, positivity, and fun are at the heart of what I do.

My Story

I was raised by a single father in the Marine Corps. My little sister and I grew up in Hawaii, Ohio, Cuba, Japan, and San Diego, California. From a young age I was always an athlete participating on the cross country, track, basketball and swim teams. The majority of my nutrition came from pre-packaged, processed foods, restaurants, and drive-thru’s.

While attending college in Vermont, I worked in a warehouse, and eventually desk jobs, all of which took a toll on my body, causing me debilitating low back/sacral pain that I battled with for almost a decade. After trying all of modern medicines’ solutions, I looked to alternative medicine. I quit my desk job and went back to school to study nutrition, medicinal herbs, aromatherapy, yoga, and Reiki. In 2012, I became a certified Holistic Health Practitioner.

Later that year I moved to LA to pursue careers in both holistic medicine and modeling. It was way more stressful than I could have ever imagined and my health and happiness paid the price.

In 2014, I decided to take a Crossfit class. Though intimidating at first, I loved the variety in the workouts and the mental and physical challenges. After a few months of working out consistently I noticed that my back/sacral pain was gone! By focusing on using proper body mechanics (that I had learned from yoga) with body weight movements, gymnastics, and weightlifting, I developed strength that I had never experienced before.

Fitness and nutrition became my way of life, leading to certifications as an ACE Personal Trainer and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. At the same time I started receiving exciting opportunities in fitness modeling. Since then I’ve helped numerous people reach their health and fitness goals. I love my job. It gives me great satisfaction knowing that I am in service of others.

My mission is to empower people to achieve their nutrition and fitness goals in a way that is mindful, sustainable and fun!
