Hi! My name is Cat.

I am a multifaceted fitness professional based in Los Angeles, California. As a certified personal trainer, yoga teacher, nutrition coach, and Holistic Health Practitioner, I am passionate about promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles. In addition to my coaching roles, I work as a fitness model, embodying the practices I advocate.

who do i train?

I have the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from individuals who are new to training to seasoned athletes aiming to elevate their performance. I train both men and women, of all ages, including children. My clientele includes professionals from various fields such as doctors, lawyers, students, teachers, small business owners, CEOs, real estate agents, authors, producers, actors, as well as everyday heroes like moms and dads.

A notable highlight of my career is training Halle Bailey for her role in a Disney movie. Since 2021, I have volunteered as a coach with a non-profit organization called Girls On The Run, and I've also served on the board of directors for Girls On The Run Los Angeles. This spring marks my seventh season coaching, a decision I regard as one of the most rewarding in my life. I coach girls from third to eighth grade, guiding them not only in running and understanding the importance of physical fitness but also in being respectful, inclusive, standing up for others, dealing with bullying, and much more.

My Training Style

Raised by a single father in the Marine Corps, I learned the values of discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic from an early age. This upbringing, coupled with years of studying Buddhism and positive psychology, has deeply influenced my personal training style. As a result, I integrate discipline, mindfulness, positivity, and fun into all aspects of my work.

My personal journey

Growing up with a single father in the Marine Corps, my little sister and I experienced life across Hawaii, Ohio, Cuba, Japan, and San Diego, California. From a young age, I was an avid athlete, participating in cross country, track, basketball, and swim teams. Despite my active lifestyle, my diet primarily consisted of pre-packaged, processed foods, and meals from restaurants and drive-thrus.

During college in Vermont, I worked in a warehouse and later held desk jobs, both of which eventually took a toll on my body, resulting in debilitating low back and sacral pain that persisted for nearly a decade. After exploring modern medicine's solutions to no avail, I turned to alternative therapies. I left my desk job and pursued studies in nutrition, medicinal herbs, aromatherapy, yoga, and Reiki. In 2012, I earned my certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner.

Later that year, I moved to LA to pursue careers in holistic medicine and modeling. This transition was far more stressful than anticipated, affecting my health and happiness.

In 2014, I decided to try a CrossFit class. Initially intimidating, I was drawn to the variety in workouts and the mental and physical challenges. After a few months of consistent training, I was thrilled to find that my back and sacral pain had vanished! By using proper body mechanics learned through yoga, combined with bodyweight movements, gymnastics, and weightlifting, I developed unparalleled strength.

Fitness and nutrition became central to my life, leading to certifications as an ACE Personal Trainer and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Around the same time, I began receiving rewarding opportunities in fitness modeling. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping numerous individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. I love my job and find great satisfaction in serving others.

My mission is to empower people to achieve their nutrition and fitness goals in a way that is mindful, sustainable, and fun!
